Please make sure to RSVP for the event so NuWay can have an idea of how many people to expect. Light food and drinks will be available for all. For this event, GOBA members & their employees may attend for free, anyone else attending (friends, family, community members) will be required to pay $10 at the event (Cash or Check).

A Great Small Town Christmas will kick off with a Light Up Night on Friday, November 29th at the Oakland B&O Museum.

The event will start with a Walking Holiday Light Parade, led by Santa Claus starting at the Town Parking Lot. The parade will leave the Town Parking lot at 6pm. All are invited to participate in the walking parade as we make our way to the B&O Museum for the official light up night. Several local groups will perform after the lights go on!

On Saturday, November 29, shop in Oakland for Small Business Saturday. Find discounts and promotions in shops all across town (not just downtown)! Ask about “Elf Cards” at participating businesses - you’ll be entered for a unique drawing at each store that you spend more than $25 at!

n Saturday, December 13, join us for A Great Small Town Christmas. Enjoy soup served by nonprofit groups at various locations in the Main Street District and take a photo with Santa. Gather in the photo booth after your free sleigh ride.

All children are invited to a 1pm reading of reading of the Night Before Christmas at the B&O Station.
